A: Lint in a vent can restrict airflow. Part of a proper dryer function is the airflow through the dryer vent. One way you can see if you have an issue is to go outside and feel the flow of air leaving the vent. Or call Carter and he can check your airflow with an Anemometer to check the wind speed. Good airflow should push 1,500 per minute out of your dryer exhaust system.
